Only with your consent: analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read and whether the contact form and booking links are used, and Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used (anonymous session replays and heatmaps, with form entries hidden). Neither loads, and neither sets cookies, until you click "Accept analytics".
| Name | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps the session state | 2 years |
_clck | Microsoft Clarity | Keeps the same anonymous Clarity ID across visits | 1 year |
_clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Joins page views into one session | 1 day |
Clarity also uses Microsoft cookies on Microsoft’s own domains (such as MUID, CLID, ANONCHK, MR and SM), as described in Microsoft’s Clarity cookie list. They are set only after you accept.
Third-party embeds
The booking calendar on /contact/ is embedded from Calendly. When it loads, Calendly may set its own cookies, as described in Calendly’s cookie policy. You can also book on calendly.com directly, or email info@octalcode.com instead.
